The 5K

8:00 a.m. start

Our 5K, just like our Half Marathon, is a flat and fast, USATF cer­ti­fied course. Many run­ners have estab­lished their per­sonal record here, and con­tinue to return.

The 5K is also a great race for begin­ners.  We see more first-timers every year, many of whom return to run the Half Marathon, or the Relay, in fol­low­ing years.  Addi­tion­ally, it’s a per­fect race for fam­i­lies of all ages to run together and cel­e­brate a great accomplishment.

The 5K STARTS and FINISHES at the Marine Empo­rium Land­ing.  The race course goes along beau­ti­ful Oxnard Beach Park to Rehab Point, where you turn around and head back to cheer­ing crowds at the Fin­ish Line.

Park­ing for the 5K:  Park­ing for you is at the Marine Empo­rium Land­ing  Marine Empo­rium in the har­bor, before the race starts.  Please arrive early.

Also:  There are no shut­tles between the Har­bor Fin­ish and the Half Marathon & Relay start.

Fin­ish­ers Medals
Each run­ner will receive a col­lec­table finisher’s medal when they cross the fin­ish line.
