Answers to Frequently asked Questions: 
There is NO race day registration.
If it’s cold or wet in the morning will you have a way to get our sweats back to the finish line? YES . . .
You will have an extra plastic bag in your goodie bag for your sweats. Write your bib number on the bag and leave it at the bag drop off area at the starting line. UPS will ferry them to the finish line for you where you can pick them up at  the volunteer tent. Please make sure you have your race number on the bag and close the bag tightly!  We are not responsible for any lost or stolen gear.

I am not racing or able to volunteer, can I still donate to the toy drive?  
Absolutely! 
Toys or other donations are welcome.
Drop off a toy either at the finish line at Marine Emporium Landing on the day of the race or come down to the Toy Drive December 5th at the Santa Park in Nyeland Acres beside the 101 freeway.

Do I have to bring a toy to participate in the race?
 
  YES ... 
You do not have to bring a toy, you can always donate cash instead.  But we hope that in the spirit of this event you will bring a toy to donate. The toys really bring out the smiles on the faces of the children we are trying to help.  We would appreciate you donating an unwrapped toy, valued at at least $10, at the race.  All donations will be stored in a safe and secure place for Santa so he can distribute them at the toy giveaway on December 20th at “Santa Park” in Oxnard.

If I am not running can I participate by being a volunteer? 
 
    YES...
Volunteers are greatly appreciated and needed!  Give us a call at 805-485-7233 or e-mail us at t2thebar@gmail.com.  Please visit the Volunteer Info link on this site to get all the information needed on being a volunteer.  Students please bring any volunteer hours verification forms you may have from your school. 

This course is point to point...will there be transportation provided to get to the start? 
 
    YES... A shuttle service will be provided from the finish line to get you to the start in time for the race.  There will be 3 departure times available...6:15a.m., 6:30a.m., 6:45a.m., and 7:00 a.m..  Shuttles will be located in the parking lot in front of the Marine Emporium Landing at the Channel Islands Harbor.  Please go to the Directions link on this site for directions to the finish line.  Parking at the starting line is extremely limited so please take advantage of the shuttles we are providing.

Will there be transportation
available to pick up those doing
the relay race?
YES...
We will be providing shuttles to pick up runners at each leg of the relay race to bring you back to the finish line to meet up with your other team members. 

 
Will there be Port-O-Potties
along the course?

YES...
Bathrooms will be provided for you at the starting line, miles 4, 6, 10 and at the race day expo. 

Will there be awards given out to the race winners?
YES...
Awards will be given out to the top 3 male and top 3 female finishers in each age category.  Age categories are: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59. 60-69 and 70+ for the half marathon race. Relay awards will be given to the top 3 teams only.  Finisher medals will be given to all athletes.  

Is there a refund policy for this race?
Sorry, but no... 
there are no refunds!  But you can defer your entry to another one of our races in the future.  Checkout our link to Our Other Events page to see what is available throughout 2009.  If you choose a race with a higher entry fee, you will be required to pay the difference.  When you choose another race you would like to do just email us and we will get you set for that race.

Where can I pick up my race
items packet ? 
Race Packets can be picked up Friday 11th at

Can I register for the race at the packet pick-up location? 
YES... 
You can register for the race at the package pick-up  You can also register online or by sending in the registration form.  The online registration closes December 11th at midnight.  There is no race day registration.

Can I pick up my race packet and chip on race day??
YES... 

You can pick up your race packet and chip on race day at the STARTING LINE area, but we advise you to come early!!  There may be hundreds of people doing the same and it may take a little time.  We advise you to go to the packet pick-up location on either Friday or Saturday before race day instead.  Last minute check in on race day begins at 6:30 a.m. and ends at 7:30 a.m. 

Can I pick up someone else's race items if they can not make it 
out on Friday or Saturday?
YES...
You can pick up a friend or relative's items.  Just please make sure to have their information and shirt size with you in case there are any problems.

Can I register on race day?
NO, 
There is no race day registration available
for this race. 


Transfer Service
UPS will be available at the starting line to collect all bagged sweats and other articles to ferry back to the finish to be collected on the completion of your run.
